BBi clothing, what can I say, the fastest up and coming clothing company in southern California. The creators passion and grind for their business is hard to match. I see them everywhere, from fashion shows, to a booth at the biggest events to the smallest events and promotiong clubs. They even show love and respect to other clothing lines that are grinding too. They’ve even reached out to the youth by creating a skate team and exposed the young skaters to positive atmospheres and introduced them to positive people in the clothing and music industry. BBi clothing is a perfect example of, hard work pays off.
When did Barely Broke Intellects (BBi) start?
BBi Started in January 2008 when Me (Rick) and Darron had a childhood idea for a brand called Barely Broke which is a strong meaning to us as far as where most people are financially when they start business. Childhood friend Demontre had a clothing brand also that he wanted to launch called Intellect clothing so we just sat down and collab both brands to make it Barely Broke Intellects Clothing, the name of his brand was a perfect addition to the meaning of our line so we did it!
Where do the ideas for the designs come from?
Our ideas for designs come from our daily life, what we go through, our feelings towards issues but mainly really inspired by all genres of music.

Who is the line geared towards?
Our line is geared towards quality at a reasonable price for barely broke people that are not filthy rich, a lot of brands think cause it’s good quality they should boost there prices crazy not us, were not tryin to make crazy profits we just want people to go out to our store pick up a good designed tee without having to come out the pocket all crazy. Our line also caters to anyone from a skater to a producer, its very diverse. We also have a really good skate team and have sponsored a couple local artist so we aim to actually get involved in the streets and with people from the begining and show love to everyone.
